How’s your 2019 going? Lovelies, we’re less than 2 weeks in and I’ve pretty much given up on resolutions. What about you? I just have the attitude of “if at first you don’t succeed, try try again! Today I’m sharing one of the newest, fun and funky ensembles in my wardrobe! I’ve dubbed it the Black on Black with a Pop of Pink!
Over the years, there were times where I wore all black every day. Yes, EVERY DAY. This was mainly because it was easy, all I could afford at the time, or because I felt as if black would hide the widening girth around my waistline after two children. But with age, more money and feeling more comfortable in my skin, I began to add more color to my wardrobe, with fervor. Although, my wardrobe now looks like a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns, let me tell you… When an all black outfit is a showstopper, I’m wearing it…with fervor!
The lacy black blouse is a mock turtleneck, high low, with beautiful flouncy sleeves. My pants are velvet (my very first pair) and have flouncy bottoms to match! I paired both with booties purchased from Forever 21 over a year ago at a minimal price. And for added flair and a pop of color, is the pink (although on the website it’s described as red).
