Faith. Style. Life - - Still in Progress

Hello, my beautiful Stylistas!

It’s been a minute—okay, maybe a couple of years—but here I am again, tapping the keys and breathing life back into this space. Days turned into months, and months turned into years of asking myself…Should I post today? Tomorrow? Or just archive it all and start fresh?

But through all the questioning, this little corner of the internet kept whispering, “I’m still here—waiting.”

So here we are. You might wonder what I’ve been up to. The short answer? Living. Because life has been lifing—in all its unpredictable, beautiful, messy ways. And through it all, I’ve learned that resilience and grace look good on me (and I’m sure on you too). Recently, I celebrated my birthday—Chapter 6.1—Themed, Kaftans and Konversations - surrounded by my circle of sisters at home.

This post is short and sweet—just a little re-entry into this creative space—with snippets from that unforgettable evening.

The Kaftans Runway!

Since my husband and I moved away from L.A. proper four years ago, it was the first time I really let my creative spirit loose to entertain again. The décor, the laughter, the conversations… it was everything my soul needed.

And yes, I’m still all about style (which, for me, is more about vibe than outfits) and absolutely still rooted in faith—because that’s the foundation that keeps me grounded. I’ll be honest, my writing muscles are a bit rusty, but I’m trusting that with time—they’ll flex back into shape if I continue.

Until next time,

Peace & Blessings -

J.

The topic “Faith. Style. Life – Still in Progress” beautifully reflects the journey of personal growth, blending spirituality, fashion, and everyday experiences. It reminds us that life is an ongoing process of learning, evolving, and expressing ourselves authentically. Just as style and faith require thoughtful attention and care, creative expressions like embroidery also benefit from precision and expertise. Using digitizing for embroidery allows designs to be transformed into perfectly stitched creations, preserving every detail and nuance. This combination of tradition, creativity, and technology ensures that personal and artistic expressions continue to grow beautifully, just like the ongoing journey of life itself.
