Hello there!

Yesterday, I woke up with horrible cramps with no evidence, if you know what I mean.  My pain is associated with a disorder called “Adenomyosis”, which occurs most often late in the childbearing years and typically disappears after menopause. I get severe cramping 1 to 2 weeks before my cycle begins. Ironically, this phenomenon makes me feel like my young 16 year old self, but worse. And get this, my doctor says a hysterectomy is the only cure, unless I’m blessed with menopause in the near future.  Well, I’m overdue…and waiting with bells on!  Where are youuuu? H-E-L-L-O!!!

So, what do I do, when I’m feeling crampy?  I search my closet for the most colorful, roomiest pieces that allow for a bloated belly and other swollen body parts to disappear or at least be minimized (if possible…). My next step is to pop two 500 mg Motrin, get dressed and be on my merry way!

Might as well look cute in my discomfort!

Until next time, love and light!

Julie
