I consider myself to be a free spirited, fun loving person. I’ve never really been a confrontational person, but when it comes to my children…look out. The Mama Bear in me is really real!
I love the journey I am on right now. Sometimes I think about how far along I could of been if I had begun my business and blogging journey years ago. But then I quickly realize that all happens as it is supposed to, and in God’s time. I’m just so happy that many of the things I yearned to do in the past are coming to fruition. God is good.
I’ve experienced some things in my life that could have literally driven other people crazy and ruined their lives. I’m working on the courage to share those things, as I’m sure my experiences might help others along in their lives. I believe that when the time is right, God will give me the green light to share. I’m just not ready yet, but I’m getting there!

What was your dream job as a kid?
Funny that as a kid, I was a free spirit (still am, but life kicked in) and really didn’t give a whole lot of thought to what my dream job would be. I kinda thought I’d be living in a crib on the beach with a little girl and a Porsche. Strange huh?
How do you feel you’re using your blog to help change the world?
By letting other women know: 1) that it’s alright to be a babe at 40, 50, 60, 70… and to not let society dictate what your age means; 2) That women of a certain age have the power throw the stigma of “being an old stick in the mud” out the window! 3) To show others you can still be a refined woman, but also have a fun, youthful spirit; 4) That you can set the standard for the generations before you, as a woman who blazed of trail of style, confidence and empowerment for others.
Do you like to follow trends or do you prefer to set them? Why or why not?
I actually do both. There are lots of trends that I like, but I tend to mix them with timeless pieces. The mixture of both just fit my style personality, which I consider a paradox. Hence the name, Stylish Paradox.
