The Distressed Jean Jacket

I hope everyone is having a fabulous week!  I’ve been holding onto the pictures in this post for a while.  I think because they are the last set of pictures my daughter captured of me in the brand STS Blue before she headed back to New Orleans in January. Don’t ask why, lol!

On a serious note, my children live thousands of miles away, so I treasure any personal time spent with them. I miss them a lot.  That is all!

Last year I attended Style Con in Orange County with my crew, Melanin Movement LA.  We happened to come across a booth for the brand, STS Blues.

STS Blue describes the queen who dons their brand as “trendy, sexy, and fun.  She looks to celeb street style for her fashion influence.  She considers her social live when selecting what jeans to wear, whether its brunch with friends or date night, denim is always where her outfit begins.  She chooses styles that are anything but basic, rather she covets the latest “it” jean.  She wants value, a perfect fit, and a jean that will make heads turn.” Is that you?

At the conference they were offering boyfriend jackets with embroidery to attendees at a very affordable price, so I said why not?  It was totally worth it.

I chose the distressed jacket and decided to have “Stylish Paradox” embroidered on the shoulder.  It’s a great piece and gives me the opportunity to wear my business on my shoulder, lol!

Paired with a pretty black and white skirt for this post, the jacket can of course be dressed up or down. Wear with your favorite pair of distressed jeans/skirt and slip on some mules or even sneakers if you’re looking to the traditional.

Remember, there are no limit to your style! And believe it or not, your physical presentation is the first thing people notice.  Stand out and shine. BeYOUtiful.

Until next time, love and light!
